Privacy Policy

1. Overview

At MasterConverter, we believe privacy is a fundamental right. We do not sell your personal data, monetize your uploaded documents, or run invasive tracking cookies. This policy outlines how files and operational metadata are handled.

2. File Uploads and Retention

When you upload a file for conversion:

• Files are temporarily stored in non-indexed private server storage located outside the web server's public document root.
• Files are processed strictly for the requested conversion and are never inspected or used for machine learning.
• Retention Period: Both the uploaded original and the converted result are automatically and permanently deleted 60 minutes after conversion.
• You can clear your session or discard files immediately after downloading.

3. No Third-Party APIs

All file conversions are executed directly on our own host infrastructure using native PHP engines and permitted system utilities. We do not forward your files to external cloud conversion services.

4. Operational Metadata

We log minimal technical metadata required for abuse prevention and system health:

• Timestamp of the request.
• Tool used and duration of conversion.
• Temporary hashed client IP for sliding-window rate limiting (automatically expired).

5. Cookies

We only use essential HTTP cookies for CSRF security protection and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking scripts.
